Community Grants

Tang Hall Big Local is about making Tang Hall an even better place to live. Local residents are working together to those who live and/or work in Tang Hall involved in planning how to use the Big Local Lottery Funding awarded to the area. We have been given £1m of Lottery Funding to help us to develop a 10-year plan for the area and are using part of this funding to run a Big Local Community Grants scheme.

The Community Grants Scheme aims to support local people, community groups & organisations in Tang Hall Big Local to run projects/activities that benefit the local community and help to get local people involved in Big Local. The scheme can provide small grants of up to £500 and £2000.  Grants of up to £500 are for eligible projects. Grants of up to £2000 are available for larger projects with sustainable outcomes. More details can be found in the guidance pack and application form.

Tang Hall Big Local Community Grants Scheme is administered by the Tang Hall Big Partnership, a group of local residents working with the community to steer the Big Local initiative in Tang Hall.

What is Tang Hall Big Local?

Tang Hall will receive £1 million of Lottery funding to spend over 10 years to make the area an even better place to live.

People who live and work in the area will identify what the money should be spent on. There are lots of events and activities taking place to get local people involved including Tang Hall Big Lunch on 1 June and the Tour De Tang Hall on 15 June.

Local residents have started to work together, on a Steering Group, to identify what can be done and how to get local people involved. If you would like to be part of the Steering Group, email the Chair (Anna) on
